Calvary Baptist Church
"A Church with a Heart For People"

Prayer Page

Prayer
I know not by what methods rare,
But this I know, God answers prayer.
I know not when He sends the word
That tells us fervent prayer is heard.
I know it comesth soon or late:
Therefore we need to pray and wait.

I know not if the blessing sought
will come in just the guise I thought.
I leave my prayers with him alone
Whose will is wiser than my own.

- Eliza M. Hickok

I just ask that you pray for my family. We have been dealing with a difficult issue for quite sometime. It is wearing on us and we need deliverance from it. It is robbing our joy and I am tired of Satan doing this to us. I just ask that you remove the problem from our life for good.
Thank you so much. I appreciate the prayer.

I'm a mother in need of your prayer for my son Kelsea VanNorman, he is in prison and he is mentally ill. I have filed an executive clemency with the state governor of Illinois. every thing was going well until I needed to have my son's signature and have it notarized while he is in prison. The problem is that his mail is not being given to him and he has not been able to go to the law library in prison to get his paper notarized. I need to finish the executive clemency so my son can get the help he needs. Please someone help us. What can I do? I can't afford a lawyer. My son is 19 years old in Menard prison in Chester Illinois: Kelsea VanNorman #B85976, Po Box 711,Menard Illinois, 62259 Please Write him and let him know that you are praying for him.
